1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Sentinel Subscription Tracker ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

2. Description of Service

Sentinel is a subscription management application that helps users track, analyze, and manage their recurring payments. The App provides:

• Subscription tracking and management
• AI-powered insights and recommendations
• Renewal reminders and notifications
• Spending analytics and reporting
• Cross-device synchronization via iCloud

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Sentinel. If you are under 18, you may only use the App with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

By using the App, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

4. Account Registration

While Sentinel primarily operates locally on your device, certain features may require account creation. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

5. Subscription and Payment

5.1 Free Trial

Sentinel offers a 30-day free trial. After the trial period, you must purchase a subscription to continue using premium features.

5.2 Subscription Plans

We offer the following subscription plans:

• Monthly: $2.99 per month
• Yearly: $19.99 per year (45% savings)
• Lifetime: $49 one-time payment

5.3 Payment Processing

All payments are processed through the Apple App Store. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to Apple's payment terms and conditions.

5.4 Auto-Renewal

Monthly and yearly subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage subscriptions in your Apple ID settings.

5.5 Refunds

Refunds are subject to Apple's refund policy. We do not provide direct refunds. Lifetime purchases are non-refundable.

6. User Responsibilities

You agree to use Sentinel only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your device and data
• Ensuring the accuracy of subscription information you input
• Using the App in compliance with all applicable laws
• Not using the App for any fraudulent or illegal activities
• Not attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or hack the App

7. Intellectual Property

Sentinel and all related content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App without our express written permission.

8. User Content

"User Content" refers to any subscription data, notes, categories, or other information you input into the App.

You retain all rights to your User Content. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process your User Content solely to provide the App's features and functionality.

You are solely responsible for your User Content and ensure it does not violate any laws or third-party rights.

9. AI-Powered Features

Sentinel uses artificial intelligence to provide insights and recommendations. You acknowledge that:

• AI recommendations are suggestions and not financial advice
• You should verify all financial decisions with qualified professionals
• We are not responsible for financial outcomes based on AI suggestions
• AI features may be updated or modified without notice

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

• The App will meet your specific requirements
• The App will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• Results from using the App will be accurate or reliable
• Any errors in the App will be corrected

We are not financial advisors. The App is a tool to help manage subscriptions, not provide financial advice.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Loss of profits, data, or use
• Business interruption
• Personal injury or property damage
• Financial losses from subscription management decisions

Our total liability for any claims under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the past 12 months.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe:

• Violates these Terms
• Violates applicable laws or regulations
• May cause harm to our users, company, or third parties

Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately. You may terminate these Terms by uninstalling the App.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco, California.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral.
